Building Electrician

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in buildings.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Install conduits, cable trays, wiring, lighting fixtures, power outlets, and distribution panels.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of electrical systems.

Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications and safety regulations.

Coordinate with site engineers and other trades to complete work efficiently.

Monitor and maintain the quality of electrical installations.

Report daily work progress and identify technical issues.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
• Relevant electrical certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in building electrical works.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and installation methods.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable appearance and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
