- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in PLC, SCADA, HMI, RTU, VFD, and field instrumentation systems.
- Calibrate, test, install, and commission field instruments, including pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments.
- Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of automation and control systems in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), pumping stations, and lift stations.
- Monitor control system performance and identify opportunities to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, loop diagrams, control logic, and technical documentation to perform maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and functional testing of instrumentation and control equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration certificates, and work reports in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to plan and execute maintenance activities with minimal disruption to plant operations.
- Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrading of instrumentation and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable industry standards during all maintenance activities.
- Support emergency breakdown response and participate in on-call maintenance activities when required.
- Identify spare parts requirements and report equipment defects or recurring failures to supervisors.
- Participate in system testing, commissioning, and performance verification following maintenance or project activities.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure tools, instruments, and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
