The RO Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment systems in an on-site setting in Jiddah. Day-to-day tasks include checking equipment performance, performing routine inspections, recording operating parameters, and ensuring water quality meets required standards. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, replacing filters and membranes, and conducting preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, and related components.

The RO Technician will follow safety and compliance procedures, maintain clear documentation of maintenance activities, and coordinate with supervisors and other team members to support smooth plant operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah.

• Strong understanding of RO water treatment systems, including basic principles of filtration, membranes, and water quality parameters.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance of pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment in an industrial or utilities environment.
• Ability to perform routine inspections, record data accurately, and identify operational issues in equipment and processes.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices, including handling chemicals, using personal protective equipment, and following lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience with troubleshooting equipment faults and coordinating repairs with technical teams or vendors.
• Basic familiarity with using tools, test instruments (such as pressure gauges and TDS meters), and maintenance documentation systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and maintenance staff.
• High school diploma or technical certificate in a relevant field (such as mechanical, electrical, or water treatment); vocational training in water treatment is an advantage.
• Prior experience in RO plant operations or water treatment facilities is preferred but motivated candidates with related technical experience may be considered.
• Willingness to work on-site in Jiddah, follow shift schedules, and respond to operational needs when required.
