Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood, Jefferson City MO 65109.
Why You’ll Love This PositionThis position is located in the Division Liaison Services in the Division of Administration. It is an incredible opportunity to become an essential member of an energetic team that is responsible for all fiscal aspects of the division. You will also be working with cross-departmental teams on a variety of fiscal priorities, financial policy development, and grant/fiscal monitoring and tracking.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Serve as a Program Liaison with the assigned Division for budget related inquires, accounting distribution inquires, and prepare and/or review financial reports.
- Timekeeping responsibilities for the assigned Division using the in-house timekeeping system (DELTA)
- Prepare and submit multi-organization allocated invoices for payment through a Smart Sheet tool
- Review monthly financial reports for discrepancies, accounting distribution errors and submit journal voucher corrections as needed;
- Prepare fund reconciliations and maintain fixed assets for the assigned Division
- Work on assigned tasks related to the new State of Missouri Accounting system
- Coordinate special projects and tasks, as needed
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following:
Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field is required - Previous experience with Federal Grants is preferred
- Previous experience with SAM II financial and Mo Buys is preferred
- Previous experience with Excel, Word, Access, Adobe, is required; experience with Smart Sheet is preferred
