How This Position Supports The Department’s VisionOur team focuses on opening and sorting tax returns and documents in a timely manner. We are team oriented, goal driven, and value strong communication and typing skills, as well as problem solving experience. You will work in a friendly work environment with full-time weekday schedule with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee.
Duties Performed To Support The Department’s Vision- Open and review incoming mail for necessary information on paperwork, forms, or attachments tax
- Complete data entry tasks
- Research and error correct documents to ensure timely processing
- Correspond with both internal and external customers about DOR processes relevant to taxation
- Direct or provide assistance to taxpayers with filing issues and promote electronic filing options, via phone and email correspondence
Reliable Computer Literacy Motivated
Self-directed Attention to Detail Clear Communication
Qualifications- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Proficient typing and computer skills
