This position will be located at 1730

E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, Missouri. Work hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Enter details of cash receipts (cash, checks, credit cards) for the program into the department’s Centralized Log Receipt system. Create and modify purchase orders in the Missouri Buys and SAMII systems, including purchases from state contracts such as MVE/Staples, rental vehicle reservations, and contract agreements for technical equipment calibration. Act as the point of contact for the repair and maintenance of office equipment.
  • This position is responsible for tracking, creating, and processing invoices for payment, as well as coding invoices and expense reports with the correct funding codes.
  • This position reports tonnage amounts submitted by facilities into the tonnage tracking database, tracks the tonnage fee reports, and ensures that all tonnage is received and maintained in the access database and files.
  • Receive scrap tire invoices to ensure readiness for reimbursement, prepare documentation for regional inspection reports, and verify that the report matches the grant application.
  • Serve as the primary contact and project lead for inventory tracking, including fixed assets, maintaining accurate records, performing physical counts, and submitting reports to DEQ/DAS.
  • This position is responsible for Surplus to measure all items and create SS1 requests. Collaborate with the buyer to coordinate pick-up times.
  • This position serves as the primary contact for travel reservations (both in-state and out-of-state), including the research and booking of hotels, flights, and transportation, while providing a comprehensive breakdown and all necessary documentation for approval.
To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills
  • Regulations, and Guidelines:
    Knowledge of principles, laws, regulations, policies, practices, and guidelines (for example, Executive Orders, Code of Federal Regulations, OMB circulars) of grant or agreement programs, including their order of precedence.
  • Analysis and Assessment:
    Uses information technology in accessing, collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and disseminating data and information.
  • Flexibility:
    Is open to change and new information; rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles.
Equivalent To Those Typically Gained By
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
