Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Are you someone looking for an accounting position that offers great opportunities and even better benefits, well then this is the job for you! The Office of Administration, Division of Accounting (OA-DOA) seeks a qualified professional for the Financial Unit.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Missouri BUYS Supplier File Maintenance – Missouri BUYS supplier file set-up and maintenance by examining and reviewing requests received from suppliers through Missouri BUYS.
- Missouri BUYS Supplier Help Desk – Customer service working with OA/Accounting staff, other state agencies and suppliers to resolve issues regarding Missouri BUYS registrations.
- Vendor File Maintenance – Analyze and process vendor input forms in SAMII.
- Analyze vendor input Missouri BUYS registrations, and other forms to ensure IRS and State standards are met.
- Direct Deposit Data Entry – SAMII HR EFT
- Working knowledge of the SAM II system is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate well within the unit and with state agencies and vendors via phone, email, or fax.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
The following education and experience qualifications are the minimum requirements. When applicable, equivalent substitutions will be allowed for deficiencies in experience or education.
- One or more years of business or governmental financial recordkeeping experience including mathematical computations; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (30 earned credit hours from an accredited college or university which includes three earned credit hours in Accounting may substitute for the required experience.)

Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite of employment. The Office of Administration will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
