Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in person and over the phone, assisting with product inquiries, billing issues, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include selling and promoting Mediacom products, resolving billing concerns, processing payments, scheduling service appointments, and maintaining equipment inventory while following company policies and procedures.

• Achieve sales and retention targets following departmental policies.
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products that meet their needs.
• Provide clear information about products, services, billing procedures, and equipment usage.
• Stay informed of current marketing campaigns and offers and communicate them effectively.
• Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot basic service issues, and schedule on-site service calls as needed.
• Process customer payments, balance cash drawers daily, and verify accuracy of received funds.
• Issue and receive equipment, documenting and adhering to inventory controls.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and tidy work area, conducting oneself respectfully at all times.
• Ensure all interactions meet or exceed minimum sales, quality, and productivity standards.
• Demonstrate courtesy, patience, and professionalism, explaining billing processes, services, and product offerings.
• Handle incoming calls, identify root causes, and seek resolution.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain regular attendance.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience in call center customer service, retail, or consumer sales.
• Experience handling cash, payments, and basic reconciliation procedures.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory record; occasional travel within region.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
• Familiarity with data entry and customer management systems.
