** How you’ll make an impact
*** Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering design activities.
* Create and modify drawings, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation.
* Lead and participate in design and customer specification reviews.
* Provide timely mechanical engineering support across teams.
* Support customer inquiries with clear, technically sound responses.
* Contribute to vendor qualification, new component development, and testing.
* Conduct analysis, design, and development work using 2D/3D tools for transformer products.
* Mentor and guide early‑career engineering colleagues.
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.###
** Your background
*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 2D/3D modeling tools.
* Experience working with industrial or engineering standards.
* Knowledge of pad‑mounted transformer design (preferred).
* Familiarity with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred).
