Central Electric Power Cooperative is accepting applications for the position of Line Design Engineering Technician
.

Preferred Qualifications:- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Design Drafting Technology, or a related field are required
- Three to five years of direct utility experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software required
- Experience with ESRI GIS software is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Line and substation staking
- Field data collection
- Creating and maintaining engineering drawings
- Maintaining accurate system records and documentation
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Class E driver’s license and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Compensation starts at $36 per hour. Actual starting pay will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
