Job Description

Business R&D Senior Professional positions offered by Hitachi Energy USA Inc. (Jefferson City, Missouri).

• Support development, implementation, training, and long-term support of new optimization systems for distribution transformers.
• Build .NET based applications.
• Create and update product architecture.
• Build POC on new technologies and new architecture.
• Create and maintain Install Shield packages.
• Set and maintain SQL database environments.
• Implement new features and conduct bug fixing and code refactoring.
• Define and implement infrastructure and habits of Code review and Code Quality Assurance.
• Work in an Agile multinational team.

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in each of the following:
  Programming in , C#, and .NET;
  Packaging software in Install Shield;
  Programming for Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Unit tests;
  Preparing SQL data and schema updates;
  Communicating with key users and domain experts of design systems to provide support and implement software fixes; and Preparing deployment packages and supporting IT staff.
• 1 year of experience in each of the following:
  Performing electrical design for transformers.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
• Position reports to Jefferson City, MO office.
• Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
