Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Senior Counsel in Jefferson City, MO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax credit finance and development, particularly in real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St.Louis are strongly preferred, though applications from other locations will be considered.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters.
- Manage complex real estate finance transactions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver client solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax credit regulations.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in tax credit finance.
- Experience with New Markets Tax Credits preferred.
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
CertificationsActive bar membership in good standing.
Skills- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
