The Missouri National Guard, State Resources – Field Services, is a very rewarding opportunity to support our Soldiers that protect and aid Missouri citizens in a time of need. This key role ensures our Soldiers have the supplies and resources to succeed in their critical mission.
Job LocationThis position with the Missouri National Guard will be located at State Resource Services, 6801 N. Boundary Road, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Responsibilities- Act as first point of contact for the State Support Services reception desk.
- Retrieve office mail internally on a weekly basis.
- Receive requests, coordinate supply and equipment orders, and process them for payment.
- Utilize the State of Missouri Missouri
BUYS online procurement system. - Enter Fixed Asset data into the State of Missouri SAMII financial system.
- Ensure supply closets are fully stocked and organized.
- Assist suppliers with Missouri
BUYS registration. - Track WEX cards, purchases, and receipts and submit statements for payment.
Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar or related field (substitutions may be allowed).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer services skills, including the ability to communicate well and work closely with teammates, military personnel, suppliers, and members of the general public.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while contributing valuably to a fast-paced, close team environment.
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and other standard computer skills.
- Strong common sense and judgment skills
- Physically able to lift and move supplies in a warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of the Missouri National Guard.
- Great attendance record and the ability to work independently.
- Self-starter, outgoing.
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Missouri
BUYS and SAMII Systems.
