Claims Representative

As an Inside Claims Representative, you will manage moderate to complex multi-line insurance claims from start to finish. Your work will play a key role in helping policyholders through some of life’s most challenging moments, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages for a wide range of claims
• Conduct thorough documentation and maintain detailed claim files
• Analyze legal liability and apply appropriate legal theories
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and others
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners for appraisals and reports
• Manage subrogation activities and support recovery of loss dollars
• Collaborate with team members and assist with training when needed
• Support storm response and handle claims across levels as needed

• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis)
• Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and writing abilities
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of work
• Familiarity with claims software and a willingness to learn
• Commitment to customer service and a calm, professional demeanor

• At least 5 years of moderate to complex multi-line claims experience
• Associate in Claims (AIC) designation (or 7 years of experience in lieu of AIC)
• Physical ability to sit, stand, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
• A quiet, professional remote or office environment to support work productivity
