Paralegal Medicaid Fraud Control Unit ~ Jefferson City

The Office of the Missouri Attorney General (Jefferson City location) has an opening for a discovery and litigation paralegal in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. Duties include assisting with discovery, including the collection, review, production of documents, and coordinating with other parties, applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, filing documents with courts in a timely manner, preparing for trial by creating exhibits, preparing cases for trial, attending trial as support for attorneys, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Applicant must have a paralegal degree or equivalent education or experience. Candidates should have excellent organizational, writing, typing, telephone skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Salary range is $50,000 - $55,000.
