PositionWe are currently seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
ShiftsPart Time Days - 24 hours per week
Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice under supervision of RN and medical/psychiatric staff.
- Respond to physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.
- Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
