Position Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. The ADON works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team within the correctional environment to improve health care of incarcerated offenders.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid RN license in Missouri. Baccalaureate Degree preferred.
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active AED/CPR certification.
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in a correctional, forensic or criminal justice environment preferred.
