- Base Pay Range: $33.75 / hour
- Shift Differentials:
- + $2.75 / hour for evenings
- + $4.00 / hour for nights
- + $3.00 / hour for weekend shifts

Job Description
- Assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning.
- Assesses, intervenes, and reassesses the patient's self‑report/symptoms of pain promptly, using an appropriate tool (0–10 numeric scale, FACES, or FLACC).
- Demonstrates an understanding of medications with regard to action and side effects; reports pertinent information and educates patients and significant others about medications.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions in achieving goals and intended patient care outcomes.
- Maintains standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the hospital and assigned nursing unit.
- Participates in meetings, in‑services, and quality and performance improvement groups; follows attendance, punctuality, and dress‑code guidelines.
- Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person (physicians, head nurse, charge nurse, nursing supervisor) and records those observations accurately.
- Provides quality care and works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high patient satisfaction.
- May complete unit/department‑specific duties as outlined in department documents.
- Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi‑state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
- One (1) year of RN experience.
- Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
The physical demands described are representative of those required for the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. The role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a healthcare facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Rotating shifts, holidays, and work during inclement weather will be required.
