Job Overview

Personal Care Attendant (PCA) – Westbrook Terrace Memory Care II, Jefferson City, MO.

Position Type:
Full‑Time (Night Shift). Pay: $17 per hour (Hourly). Shift availability:
Days and Nights.

About the Role

Support residents’ physical and emotional well‑being in a warm, home‑like environment. Assist with daily living activities, maintain safety and dignity, and collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to provide resident‑centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
  • Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
  • Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
  • Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and BLS certifications are a plus – training available.
Skills & Abilities
  • Friendly, patient, and positive attitude.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to resident comfort and safety.
Physical Demands
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed.
  • Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance.
  • Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.
