RN Night Shift

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Jefferson City, MO. This is a full-time night shift RN position for a dependable, compassionate nurse who enjoys providing quality resident care while serving as a leader and resource for the nursing team.

• Serve as the RN Charge Nurse and nursing leader on the assigned night shift

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies

• Complete nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition

• Respond appropriately to resident needs and changes in health status

• Supervise, support, and provide direction to CNAs

• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team

• Complete accurate nursing documentation and charting

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies

• Help ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations

• Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented environment

• Current, active Missouri RN license

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

• Reliable and dependable

• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing team

• Charge nurse or nursing leadership experience is a plus
