Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week assignment in a Long-Term Acute Care facility near Columbia, Missouri. Earn up to $40 per hour while delivering high-quality care to medically complex patients. This role offers a flexible 36-hour week with day or night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
Assist with wound care, tracheostomy care, IV therapy (within scope), and other nursing procedures
Accurately document patient assessments and interventions
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention standards
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Active Missouri LPN License (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Skills:
BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
ACLS Certification preferred
Previous LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Med/Surg, Rehabilitation, or Acute Care experience preferred
Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
