Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer – Jefferson City, MO
Immediate opening for a fulltime Loss Prevention Officer.
Job Description- Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and closed circuit TV.
- Write reports.
- Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Provide courtroom testimony as required.
- Pre‑employment criminal background and drug screen.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately verbally and in writing.
- Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.
- Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
- Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
- Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated.
- Previous loss‑prevention experience a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
- Criminal Justice or related studies a plus.
- Pay: $19.00 per hour.
- Paid training provided.
- 401(k).
