Twehous Excavating Company Inc is looking to hire skilled and motivated Rock Drill Operators to support drilling and blasting operations across active construction and quarry sites. This is a physically demanding and safety‑critical position that offers year‑round, full‑time work and significant opportunities for advancement into blasting roles. • Operate hydraulic rock drills safely and efficiently on construction and quarry sites.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on drill rigs and associated equipment.
• Report major mechanical issues to company maintenance staff.
• Log drill activities, complete workplace exam paperwork, and ensure proper documentation.
• Read and apply grade and drilling patterns from design plans.
• Assist with blasting preparation and cleanup.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Support other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of equipment operating experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
• Ability to understand and interpret site plans and layouts.
• General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety‑conscious mindset.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.

• Full‑Time:
  Monday – Friday
• Overtime and weekend work may be required

Based in Jefferson City, MO with travel to project sites across Missouri and the Midwest.
