Position Type:
Full Time Capital Equipment is looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our shop in Jefferson City, MO. This mechanic will be required to perform maintenance on the following trucks:

• Dump Truck
• End Dump Truck
• Pneumatic Truck
• Low Boy/Heavy Haul Truck
• Asphalt Cement Truck

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of trucks
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance
• Perform safety checks
• Assist senior mechanics
• Change brakes and tires
• Trouble shoot and repair engine and transmission issues
• Estimate time and material costs on equipment repairs and request new parts
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation in compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have your own tools
• Field tech experience
• Welding experience is a plus
• Proficient with diagnostic tools is a plus
• Must be able to work Saturdays, on occasion
• Obtain a valid driver’s license
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
