.NET Developer

Job Location

The office for this position is located at the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

This is an entry-level applications development position supporting the Department of Economic Development (DED), Department of Agriculture (MDA), Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI), Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Missouri National Guard (MONG). The employee will be involved in standard coding, debugging, and modifications to existing applications. Employee will conduct standard testing and prepare documentation in accordance with existing standards and practices.

Employee will utilize existing software tools and will work under the direction of a more seasoned applications development resource and/or team leader.

• Provides technical expertise to successfully meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Maintains existing .NET desktop and web applications.
• Writes SQL scripts.
• Creates and maintains SSRS reporting.
• Designs solutions based on client’s needs.
• Identifies and resolves development issues independently.
• Understanding of .NET and C#.
• Understanding of MVC frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Ability to respond to demands in an Agile environment.
• Ability to understand client’s needs and technical requirements and implement solutions.
• Ability to identify and resolve development issues.
• Ability to respond to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of OKTA, Service Now and AI a plus.
• Ability to communicate well and work within a team.
• Ability to collaborate with other professionals.
• Successful background check results are required for employment in this position.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
