This position will be located at 4720 Scruggs Station Road, Jefferson City, MO

Document Solutions offers a wide variety of digital, print, and mail solutions in both small and large volumes for Missouri State Government. The Mail Route Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and leading the mail route team while providing excellent customer service support to state agencies.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

  • Sort and meter mail
  • Ensure that UPS shipments are processed
  • Oversee employee's leave
  • Review and adjust mail routes
  • Communicate with customers
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Oversee route drivers and ensure coverage for mail routes
  • Assist Mail Manager with maintaining mail fleet
  • Facilitate monthly Engage meetings
  • Maintain spreadsheets with mail data
Minimum Qualifications:
  • One to two years of mail experience or closely related areas
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active Missouri driver's license
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport supplies and/or mail up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
  • Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving postal standards and mail center security protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One to two years supervisory experience
  • Ability to organize work assignments effectively
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft office
  • Ability to learn the operation, adjustment and maintenance of mail equipment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other employees
