Position SummaryThe Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including:
- Therapeutic exercise
- Neuromuscular re-education
- Manual therapy techniques
- Therapeutic activities and functional training
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Accurately document treatments and progress notes in a timely manner
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture
- Assist with maintaining clinic flow and supporting overall patient experience
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (or eligible for licensure)
- Passion for outpatient orthopedic care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
