Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Days

Jefferson City, Tennessee

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments across a Medical Surgical unit
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide thorough patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Apply critical problem-solving skills to address changes in patient condition
• Float to other units as required by facility staffing needs

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

• Experience working in a high-census Medical Surgical environment with patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt quickly to varying unit environments

• No on-call requirements, offering a predictable and stable schedule throughout the contract
• Opportunity to gain experience in a well-established Medical Surgical unit with a projected start date of July 2026
