The
Production Controller
is responsible for developing,maintaining, andmonitoringproduction schedules to ensure products are manufactured and shipped on time. This role coordinates customer delivery requirements, material availability, and manufacturing capacity tooptimizeworkflow and meet business objectives. Working closely with Sales, Customer Service,Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality, the Production Controller helps drive operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and a high levelof customer satisfaction.

- Maintainaccuratemachine shop production schedules and achievable production targets.
- Use ERP capacity planning tools to recommend scheduling adjustments and support on-time delivery
- Develop andmaintainthe Master Production Schedule to minimize past-due orders.
- Monitor production capacity, workload, and criticalcomponentavailability to ensure schedule attainment
- Establish delivery dates and estimate production timelines based on capacity, materials, tooling, complexity, backlog, and demand
- Recommendoptimallot sizes based on production requirements and customer demand
- Analyze delivery performance andidentifyopportunities to improve on-time delivery
- Identify project risks early and drive resolution to prevent schedule delays.
- Communicate project requirements and status across internal teams and customers tomaintainalignment and manage expectations
- Assistthe shop floor in resolving hold tags, routing issues, and other production constraints.
- Lead kickoff and customer meetings to align stakeholders on project requirements, milestones, schedules, and expectations
- Monitor project costs to ensure budget alignment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required
- Associate’s degree in a Manufacturing related field or equivalent years of experience
- Two or more years of experience in manufacturing, productionplanningand/or supply chain processes
- Proficiency with a company ERP
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft office products
- Ability to create and understand reportsin order tomake production decisions
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
- Experience using and creating reports in Power BI
- Two or more years’ experience in Project Management
