Heavy Equipment Operator – Jefferson & Tennent, GA

• Ability to climb, step, walk rough terrain and negotiate equipment entry/exit (climbing, reaching, pulling, bending).
• Possession of required certifications and licenses, including Earthmoving and Crane certifications where applicable.
• Ability to read plans and grades.
• Experience working on complex public works projects.

• Operate heavy construction equipment to move material, earth, and heavy objects (forms, steel, rebar, etc.).
• Excavate and grade jobsites for buildings, roads, tanks, and underground structures.
• Adhere to safe load limits and safety procedures.

• Constant motion traversing various terrains.
• Full motion of neck for unrestricted vision.
• Sitting in a prone position for long periods while operating equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections (greasing, fluid checks, accessory changes, safety log completion).
• Lift up to 50 lbs of miscellaneous items.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and maintain satisfactory attendance.
