Special Ed Teacher | Jefferson, Georgia

A contract position is available for a Special Education teacher at an elementary school in Jefferson, GA. This role involves working in a self-contained adaptive classroom with students who present challenging behaviors. The assignment runs from February 23, 2026, through May 20, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

• Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained adaptive classroom setting.
• Manage challenging student behaviors effectively and safely.
• Participate in mandatory restraint training and implement restraint techniques when necessary.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student needs and promote a positive learning environment.

• Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) teaching license in Special Education.
