About

the Role

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility. You’ll lead a shift, provide guidance to fellow technicians and Automation Engineer support partners, optimize preventive maintenance, and maximize equipment reliability of conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADA devices and programs. Expert‑level support is required for technical problems related to MHE systems.

What

You’ll Do
  • Repair, maintain, and continuously improve the functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and related equipment.
  • Lead and mentor emergency repair work plans for critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our client and Operations Maintenance team members.
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
What You’ll Need
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
  • Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
  • Ability to conduct preventive and procedure‑based maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
  • 3+ years of work order management.
  • Ability to use statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up‑Time to prioritize accordingly.
  • Physical requirements:

    stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous vendor management experience.
  • Experience with robotic maintenance.

    Experience with CMMS.
  • Certification preferred in electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
