Position SummarySprays surfaces of trucks, buses, vans or other vehicles assigned with protective or decorative material, such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer, using a spray gun.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review repair estimates for painting instructions and create plan to perform work.
- Provide proper tools and tool storage for performing assigned tasks.
- Disassemble and re‑assemble truck parts and accessories to access painted surfaces.
- Sand, prime and prep painted surfaces for painting.
- Operate air operated sanding and grinding equipment.
- Perform all taping and masking in a professional manner to assure a quality and acceptable finished product.
- Determine that surfaces are paint ready before applying paint products.
- Apply paint products with proper training and knowledge of paint mixing procedures.
- Use safety equipment for painting, including respirators and body protection.
- Provide a quality and acceptable paint finish for all paint assignments.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all company proprietary and confidential information.

EducationOne year certificate from a fully accredited college or technical school.
ExperienceMinimum of two years related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Specific Experience- Knowledge of respirator systems.
