School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Jefferson, Georgia

Step into an impactful role supporting a 5th-grade student with complex medical needs throughout the entire academic year. This contracted LPN opportunity offers the chance to make a significant difference in a students daily life by providing one-on-one care and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment both during school and while in transit.

• Active Georgia LPN license required
• Prior experience providing 1:1 care in a school setting is highly valued
• Clinical skills in seizure management, oral suctioning, G/J-tube feeding, administering oxygen, and medication administration
• Familiarity with asthma care and emergency protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
• Reliability and punctuality, especially for early morning starts

• Meet the student at home at 6:30am and ride with them on the bus to and from school each day, per IEP and physicians instructions
• Deliver essential medical care including G-tube feeds, oxygen administration, vital sign monitoring, oral suctioning, and support in the management of seizures or asthma as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and incidents
• Coordinate with the students family, bus staff, and school personnel to promote consistent and responsive care
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for any adverse reactions throughout the school day
• Support the student's independence and participation in educational activities wherever possible

This position is exclusively onsite and runs full-time (37.5 hours per week) from August 2026 through May 2027. The assignment allows you to build strong, trusting relationships and be a crucial part of this students educational experience.
