Account Manager - Site Built

UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value‑added wood and non‑wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components. We’re currently hiring for an Account Manager in the Atlanta, GA market that would be responsible for the sale of roof/floor trusses, stair kits, and engineered wood products for residential, single‑family, multi‑family, and commercial builders by developing and maintaining customer contacts.

• Service and maintain positive relationships with the current customer base
• Identify customer needs and solve problems
• Understand and perform cost‑savings analysis for customers
• Generate new sales by promoting the product line to new and existing customers
• Troubleshoot problems for customers
• Qualify customers’ creditworthiness
• Monitor sales market in the assigned region
• Prepare various reports as required
• Accounts receivable management
• Month‑end inventory participation
• Perform other duties as required

• Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related area
• Preferred minimum of five years’ experience selling roof/floor trusses, stair kits, and engineered wood products
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other business applications
• Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
• Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
