Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P., is seeking a skilled individual for our Forklift Operator position with our logistics organization at our Jefferson, GA location. The Forklift Operators load, unload, transfer and stack product in the warehouse and trucks while meeting safety, quality and on-time delivery objectives. These roles are also responsible for correctly processing transfers through the warehouse management system and scanners.
Responsibilities- Process factory transfers
- Warehouse upkeep thru sweeping and keeping area(s) clean
- Control damage and inventory
- Drive forklift safely
- Utilize the PKMS through RF scanning
- Complete LTL and Will Calls
- Complete paperwork and submit at end of each shift
- Perform daily Pre & Post shift forklift inspection
- Attend and participate in daily safety meeting
- Wear proper PPE and uniform at all times during each shift
- Process factory transfers (basic loading and unloading) safely and efficiently without damage, with minimal supervision
- Operate forklift safely and work in fast‑paced warehouse – Must pass in‑house forklift training
- Learn PKMS and scanning system
- Basic computer skills and data entry
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Meet deadlines
- Use good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job
- Establish positive working relationships with employees and internal/external customers
- Understand and follow all company rules, policies, procedures and requirements especially for safety, quality, delivery and productivity/cost
- 0‑1 year recent industrial forklift experience preferably within a large‑scale high‑volume warehouse/logistics facility
- High School diploma or GED
- Forklift Certification – provided by in‑house training team (40 hrs forklift training)
