Shipping Receiving Clerk M-F

About the Position

At Kenco Logistics, you’ll join a dynamic 3PL provider focused on safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you’ll verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare outgoing shipments, and receive deliveries to the warehouse dock using warehouse management systems.

• Document management: prepare, create, retrieve, validate, and store documents necessary to support operations.
• Label, pack, and load items for shipment according to specifications.
• Stage shipments for shipping.
• Accept shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operate stretch wrap banders and prepare pallets and crates for shipping.
• Unload delivery vehicles and move items to appropriate areas.
• Inspect for damage, compare items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and document discrepancies.
• Maintain records of all items received and shipped via warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Check receipts against purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, following prescribed safety regulations.
• Ensure the facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• If the site is a CGMP environment, monitor proper inventory requirements: FIFO (First In First Out), Lot, and Age.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Perform other applicable duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel required.
• Attention to detail and quality required.
• Ability to multitask in a safe manner.
