Performs clerical and accounting duties related to accounts receivable, according to accepted accounting standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Make daily cash deposits and complete daily cash reports.
- Process month‑end accounts receivable and sales in Agvance.
- Analyze and review monthly customer statements, making necessary adjustments.
- Serve as customer contact for statement questions and reconcile discrepancies.
- Process invoicing and related special reports.
- May be required to cross‑train and substitute for other office positions such as receptionist, accounts receivable, credit assistant, etc.
- May be required to pick up/drop off local products or materials by request.
- Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires Associate’s Degree in Accounting, or the equivalent thereof, and/or prior work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting functions and computer systems and programs. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Demonstrated Essential Abilities- Business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
