POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organizational direction for the delivery of services across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO ensures that operational programs are effectively managed, mission-focused, financially responsible, and aligned with the values and traditions of the Franciscan mission.

The COO provides leadership for a broad range of service areas, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and person-centered care are maintained across approximately 40 licensed long-term care, community-based facilities and day program centers throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Position resides at the headquarters in Jefferson, WI.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and strategic leader who understands the complexities of human services, healthcare operations, and mission-driven organizations. The COO will inspire teams, strengthen operational excellence, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the lives of the individuals served.
