* Job Summary:

** The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes within a distribution setting. The primary duties of this role include ensuring part quantity is accurate as well as making sure that raw goods are in the right location per the inventory system. In addition, this role may assist with inspecting shipments, maintaining records, adjusting discrepancies and support continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse.

This position works inside the warehouse to track items, parts, and products and will work with management to make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

Major Responsibilities Inventory Control Specialist I
* Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment.
* Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.
* Help to research where missing inventory could be located and work to correct errors in the system.
* Performs dynamic cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
* Use a barcode scanner, computer and/or radio frequency (RF) tool to enter and adjust items into inventory database.

Inventory Control Specialist II
* ICS I responsibilities.
* Monitor inventory changes daily using the inventory or warehouse management system.
* Research and correct inventory errors.
* Audit warehouse locations and correct defects in records.
* May lead a small team on a project.
* Ability to present Dashboards, Metrics, and KPI’s.
* Locate products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.

Inventory Control Specialist III
* ICS I & II responsibilities.
* Work on planning and communicating daily plans to the team.
* Ability to work in multiple areas of the warehouse or plant.
* Set up and control master data in SAP.Minimum

Job Requirements
** Education
* ** High School Diploma or GED
** Experience
* ** 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or comparable work environment where duties include inventory control.

** Inventory Control Specialist I
* Understands the cycle count methodology.
* Can perform counts and adjustments in SAP as needed.
* Has basic computer knowledge and can effectively send out emails to other plants.
* Ability to operate equipment safely.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Good problem solving/analyzing skills.
* Communicate effectively.

Inventory Control Specialist II
* Can use SAP to process action reports as directed by Supervisor.
* Ability to create and process STO’s.
* Effectively use barcode scanner, computer and/or radio frequency tool for performing tasks.
* Understand and perform E&O process.
* Ability to lead projects with a small team.

Inventory Control Specialist III
* Ability to fill in for the Lead when necessary.
* Willingness to assist other teams onsite and remotely.
** Level of Independence**:

This position will report directly to a Production Supervisor, Materials Supervisor or Distribution Supervisor and has some degree of autonomy.
** Physical Demands:
** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
