Our staffing firm is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity. This position plays a key role in supporting continued business expansion, including integration efforts and increasing complexity across accounting operations.
This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys taking initiative, working independently, and being deeply involved in day-to-day accounting functions. This position will sit onsite in Erlanger, KY.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger activity, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support a fast‑paced month‑end close process, including financial reporting and variance analysis
- Reconcile key accounts including cash, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and bank accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and supporting schedules
- Assist with year‑end close processes and preparation of audit‑ready work papers
- Prepare and manage tax‑related filings such as 1099s and support external audits and regulatory requests
- Partner cross‑functionally to support ERP system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements
- Contribute to ongoing optimization of accounting workflows and internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience working in manufacturing or complex operational environments preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in an onsite setting
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $92,000.00 per year
