Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver engaging instruction in fire and EMS courses
- Develop curriculum aligned to workforce needs, state standards, and student interests
- Collaborate with an institute of higher education to serve as a College Credit Plus (CCP) instructor
- Build and maintain strong industry partnerships
- Establish and facilitate a Program Advisory Committee
- Work closely with school and district staff to ensure a high-quality, future-ready program
- Foundations of Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services (Subject Code: 170342)
- Medical Terminology (Subject Code: 072150)
- Minimum of 5 years of documented, relevant industry experience (CTE requirement)
- At least 5 years of documented teaching experience in both Fire and EMS instruction
- Willingness to work with an institute of higher education to become a CCP instructor
- Appropriate teaching license or the ability to obtain one through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce Development
- Has deep industry experience in Fire/EMS
- Enjoys mentoring and teaching
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with high school and adult students
- Thrives in building something new
- Wants to make a lasting impact on students and the regional workforce
