- Provide consulting and administrative support for 401(k), pension, and other qualified retirement plans
- Analyze retirement plan data, troubleshoot complex issues, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Support retirement plan operations, including distributions, compliance testing, and day-to-day plan administration
- Review and interpret discrimination testing results
- Assist with annual regulatory filings, including Form 5500 preparation and review
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure plan compliance and operational excellence
- Conduct research and analysis, clerical tasks, and implementation of benefits programs and policies
- Conduct benefits plan research, analysis, evaluation, and administration
- Lead or direct wellness and work-life programs and activities as applicable
- Ensure benefits programs comply with federal and state rules and regulations, including COBRA and HIPAA
- Assist in designing and implementing corporate benefits programs, policies, and procedures
- Work with appointed vendors to resolve employee questions and issues
- University / college degree, typically a bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Prior experience in the retirement services industry, retirement plan administration, or a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) environment
- Strong knowledge of 401(k) plans, pension plans, discrimination testing, distributions, and retirement plan compliance
- Experience with Form 5500 reporting and retirement plan regulatory requirements
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and tell a compelling story through insights
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
- No required certifications or licenses
Demonstrates expertise in retirement plan administration, including 401(k) and pension plans, with a strong focus on compliance, data analysis, and client communication. Proficient in regulatory requirements and Form 5500 reporting, ensuring operational excellence in benefits programs.
