Physician - Psychiatrist

We are seeking a Psychiatry Medical Director for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity involves 10-15 hours of work per month, including telehealth appointments and medical oversight of nurse practitioners. The role is ideal for a board-certified psychiatrist who values flexibility and is comfortable with both administrative and clinical telemedicine responsibilities.

• Serve as Medical Director, providing clinical and administrative oversight for nurse practitioners
• Cover overflow telehealth appointments (5-20 per month) as needed
• Respond to nurse practitioner calls regarding medical management or case questions in a timely manner
• Oversee, update, and implement new policies and ensure compliance standards are met
• Approve and review notes for nurse practitioners
• Interview and assess any additional nurse practitioners or collaborators brought on by the client

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Ohio
• Experience in psychiatry and medical leadership preferred
