Associate Quality Engineer

Entry Level

experience in both fast-paced and precision job shop environment, quality control and manufacturing processes. Mentoring of team members on quality methods, internal auditing, root cause, corrective actions, and documenting non-conformances for ISO 9000 certified machining processes
. Knowledge of commercial nuclear and aerospace industries and destructive and non-destructive testing. Experience should include in-process and final inspection of components using visual and dimensional inspections to controlled procedures. CCM experience and knowledge.

• 4-7 years of work experience in QC/QA and Continuous Improvements Roles;
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with initiative and follow through.
• Results driven. Desire to show improvement and impact.
• Team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done and pitch in where needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others. This person will partner with many departments and functional areas and will need to develop effective relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of an organization. Clear communication and follow through are important for success.
• Computer literate and strong organization skills.
