Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Hope Services, a mission-driven nonprofit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting and finance operations. Reporting to senior leadership, the Controller oversees general ledger, A/P, A/R, and payroll; manages budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting; and ensures compliance with GAAP, grant, and regulatory requirements.

This role partners closely with program and executive teams to provide clear financial insight that supports high-quality, person-centered services. The Controller leads audit preparation, maintains strong internal controls, supervises accounting staff, and helps optimize systems and processes.
