** Responsibilities:
** Project Management:
· Recognize the different project steps within Canadian Solar Process to source new Direct and Indirect Materials and Services
· Recognize the different standards requested by Quality, Production and Engineering systems within Canadian solar to ensure product will meet all standards.
** Products:*
* · Understand and Develop Best scope of work to be fulfilled by Service provider and suppliers.
· Be able to recognize product limitation in a given market and understand critical parts of a given product to identify capable vendors
· Understanding Market situation for a given product (cost and manufacturing capacity)
· Sourcing Strategy
· Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
· Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality and / or delivery schedules.
· Understand supplier capacities and competitive advantages.
** Supplier Management*
* · Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain
· Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly and provide Root analysis with plans to resolve in short term and prevent in long term
· Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, costs, and delivery.
** Procurement*
* · Oversee the procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
· Run Internal approval process for full transparency
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide strategic resources
** Education & Training:*
* · Bachelor’s degree in economics, logistics, supply chain management or business administration
· Master's degree as a Plus in same disciplines
** Technical

Skills:

*
* · Proven experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement roles for more than 3 years
· Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
· A strategic and analytical mind.
· Excellent organizational and project management skills.
· Creative problem-solving abilities.
· Knowledge of supply chain software and analytics tools.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Working experience of SAP or Other MRP’s
