A client of ours located in southern, Indiana is seeking an Estimator to join their team. This position is responsible for managing the full-cycle project estimation process, ensuring the accurate preparation of cost models and material takeoffs, and maintaining seamless communication between project managers, field superintendents, and clients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle complex blueprint reviews, resolve intricate labor and material cost discrepancies, and ensure all bidding deadlines are met with precision and integrity.
This role is key in streamlining the pre-construction workflow and contributing to the overall success of the company’s commercial and industrial piping projects. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive base salary and benefits package.

- Prepare and Analyze Project Estimates: Develop, review, and present comprehensive cost estimates and conceptual budgets for industrial, utility, or infrastructure project proposals.
- Perform Material Takeoffs: Execute highly accurate material takeoffs to compile detailed bills of materials (BOM) and component lists based on project requirements.
- Interpret Technical Documentation: Review, analyze, and interpret complex contract specifications, engineering drawings, and blueprints to ensure precise project scoping.
- Manage Addendums and Modifications: Track incoming project addendums, design updates, and scope changes, and systematically adjust material lists and cost assessments accordingly.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Interface and communicate effectively with external contractors, engineers, and internal project teams to clarify project requirements and provide estimating guidance.
- Utilize Project Software & Ensure Quality: Leverage specialized project tracking software to manage estimating workflows, conduct cost analyses, and cross-check finalized estimates to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
