Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Manage closing activities during month‑end and year‑end to ensure timely reporting.
- Analyze monthly results to identify fluctuations and variances from budget and prior periods.
- Prepare various monthly management reports.
- Collaborate with department leaders to complete the Controls Self‑Assessment survey (J‑SOX) and recommend improvements.
- Prepare monthly accruals, intercompany transactions, and other journal entries.
- Maintain operating and capital lease schedules.
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist in the development, planning, and evaluation of internal controls across the organization.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Support tax compliance for income tax, property tax, sales tax, excise tax, and foreign tax.
- Provide backup support to other areas within Accounting/Finance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO
14001 EMS requirements. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated high‑level leadership skills with the ability to create and execute action plans.
- Self‑manage multiple projects and meet deadlines accurately and timely.
- Exhibit a high level of integrity and excellent attention to detail.
- Apply strong problem‑solving skills and commit to continuous improvement.
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with management.
- Interact in a personable, professional, and courteous manner with all stakeholders.
- Maintain Mytex data and information confidentially.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA license.
- 10+ years of related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience as a people leader and supervising direct reports.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
The salary range for this position is $117,000‑$137,000, subject to geographic adjustment based on location and authorization to work outside the listed city and state.
