Senior Cisco ACI Engineer

As a Senior Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Engineer, you will take ownership of a critical part of our network strategy. You will design, deploy and optimize next‑generation data center environments that enable secure, high‑performing payment systems across our global business.

In this role, you’ll design and evolve Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure environments that power secure, scalable network operations. You will own architecture decisions, influence technical direction and drive automation that strengthens performance and resilience, helping shape the future of commerce infrastructure.

• Design and deliver Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solutions that enable scalable, secure and high‑performing network environments
• Lead the deployment of new ACI fabrics, shaping architecture decisions across spine‑leaf topology and controller design
• Define and implement network policies, tenants and segmentation strategies that protect data and improve operational efficiency
• Drive automation initiatives that simplify operations, reduce manual effort and improve consistency across network environments
• Resolve complex network challenges, ensuring high availability and performance across critical systems
• Influence cross‑functional outcomes by partnering with architects, security teams and application owners to align infrastructure with business needs
• Develop and elevate team capability by mentoring engineers and sharing best practices that strengthen technical excellence
• Evaluate new technologies and lead proof of concept initiatives that advance network innovation and long‑term strategy

• 7+ years of network engineering experience, with deep expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and data center networking
• Strong knowledge of network protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)
• Proven experience designing and implementing ACI environments, including APIC controllers and Nexus 9000 platforms
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across both ACI and traditional routing and switching environments
• Experience integrating network infrastructure with virtualization and cloud platforms
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor others and influence technical direction
• Familiarity with automation tools and practices, including scripting or Infrastructure as Code approaches
• Clear communication and collaboration skills, with a drive to solve complex challenges and deliver measurable impact
